AlanaConlon

Alana Conlon is an accessories designer whose practice centres on sculptural, narrative driven adornment. Alana draws on mythology and historical ornament, such as seal fobs and cameos. She reinterprets and subverts these references to create jewellery that feels ancient, surreal, and contemporary.

Working primarily in silver, each piece is developed through a research-led process and produced in small runs. Her jewellery often references relics, talismans, and devotional objects, positioning adornment as something charged with meaning rather than purely decorative.

Materials are chosen consciously and production is limited. Pieces are designed to be worn, kept, and passed on. Alana resists fast-fashion cycles, favouring longevity, craftsmanship, and strong conceptual grounding.

Alongside her brand, Alana has a background in fashion design and digital innovation, which informs the sculptural language and construction of her jewellery. She also works as a lecturer in Fashion Design, with academic research focused on fashion technologies, mixed-reality showcases, and circular fashion systems.

Her work is catering to those who desire expressive and sensual precious objects. Alana prioritises unique and limited pieces designed for people drawn to wearing something a little different; accessories that operate as personal artefact, symbolic armour, and contemporary heirloom.
